Facebook is where many residents see grandchildren's photos, church updates and community news. It is also where they run into confusing privacy settings, hacked accounts and fake friend requests from people pretending to be someone they know.
A phone number residents can call any hour for patient, step by step help keeps residents connected to family online and gives them a calm second opinion before they accept, click or reply.
Give residents a patient number to call for Facebook and social media questions. Ellis is $499 a month per community, with a 30 day pilot and month to month after that.
Ellis is an AI assistant, not a person, and says so at the start of every call. Calling the number from any phone gets the first 5 minutes free, so you can test it with a real device problem before you decide.
What residents call about
Finding family posts, photos and videos on Facebook or Instagram.
Posting a photo, writing a comment or sending a message to a grandchild.
Making an account private and choosing who can see their posts.
Checking whether a friend request or message is from a fake account.
Getting back into a Facebook account after a lockout, using the official recovery steps.
Joining the community's own Facebook page or group.
How it works for a community
You add one number, (928) 272-0355, to the resident directory, the in house TV channel and the activities calendar.
Residents call any hour and Ellis talks them through on their own phone, tablet or computer, one step at a time.
Ellis never asks for or stores a password. If an account needs proof of identity Ellis cannot help with, it tells the resident who to contact.
Why it helps your community
More residents follow and share your community's own Facebook posts and events.
Fewer social media questions at the front desk and in activities.
Residents get a second opinion before falling for a fake friend request or message.
We aim for happier, more connected residents. We do not promise occupancy numbers.

Limits
Ellis is an AI assistant, not a person. It says so at the start of every call, and it can make mistakes.
It is for tech help only. It is not a HIPAA covered service and we do not sign business associate agreements, so callers are told not to share health details, Social Security numbers or card numbers.
It does not dispatch anyone or work on site. When a problem needs hands on help, Ellis tells the caller to ask your front desk or activities team, and your staff stay the escalation point.
It is not an emergency line. For anything urgent or medical, residents use your staff or call 911.
Calls are recorded and transcribed, and Ellis says so. A caller can press 2 or ask it not to save the call.
Questions operators ask
Does Ellis post or log in for residents?

Does Ellis connect to our systems?
No. Ellis does not connect to any of your systems or resident records. It only helps residents with their own devices.
Is there a contract?
