Photo sharing and digital frame help for residents
Digital photo frames and shared family albums are some of the most popular holiday gifts for grandparents. Many arrive at a resident's apartment and sit in the box because nobody is there to connect them to Wi-Fi.
A phone number residents can call any hour for patient, step by step help turns those gifts into daily photos from family, without pulling staff away from the front desk or activities.
Give residents a patient number to call when a photo frame or family album will not work. Ellis is $499 a month per community, with a 30 day pilot and month to month after that.
Ellis is an AI assistant, not a person, and says so at the start of every call. Calling the number from any phone gets the first 5 minutes free, so you can test it with a real device problem before you decide.
What residents call about
Connecting a new digital photo frame, like Aura, Nixplay or Skylight, to the building Wi-Fi.
Finding new photos the family shared in a text, email or shared album.
Saving a photo from a text message to their phone or tablet.
Joining a family shared album on an iPhone, iPad or Android.
Making photos bigger on the screen, or printing one to keep.
Checking whether a "claim your free photo prints" message is a scam.
How it works for a community
Put one number, (928) 272-0355, on a "Photo and gift help" flyer in the lobby and in the December newsletter.
Residents call any hour and Ellis talks them through on their own device, one step at a time, as long as it takes.
If the problem is the building Wi-Fi itself, Ellis tells the resident to contact your staff, so your team stays the escalation point.
Why communities add it now
Holiday gift setup questions do not land on the front desk or activities staff.
Residents see new family photos every day, which families notice and appreciate.
Families hear about a tech help line that works on the weekends and nights they cannot help.
We aim for happier, more connected residents. We do not promise occupancy numbers.

Limits
Ellis is an AI assistant, not a person. It says so at the start of every call, and it can make mistakes.
It is for tech help only. It is not a HIPAA covered service and we do not sign business associate agreements, so callers are told not to share health details, Social Security numbers or card numbers.
It does not dispatch anyone or work on site. When a problem needs hands on help, Ellis tells the caller to ask your front desk or activities team, and your staff stay the escalation point.
It is not an emergency line. For anything urgent or medical, residents use your staff or call 911.
Calls are recorded and transcribed, and Ellis says so. A caller can press 2 or ask it not to save the call.
Questions operators ask
Can Ellis see the resident's photos?
No. Ellis talks the resident through the steps by phone and the resident taps on their own device. Ellis never asks for passwords.
Does Ellis connect to our systems?
No. Ellis does not connect to any of your systems or resident records. It only helps residents with their own devices.
Is there a contract?
There is a 30 day pilot and then it is month to month at $499 a month per community.
Is Ellis a person?
