When families become the tech help desk

Ask families touring a community what worries them and many will mention the phone calls. Mom cannot find the camera button for FaceTime. Dad thinks the TV is broken again. A text says the bank account is locked. The adult child stops what they are doing, often at work, and tries to fix it over the phone from miles away.

Families love their parents and want to help. What they want even more is to know someone patient is there when they cannot be.

Give families one less thing to worry about with a patient help line in every apartment. Ellis is $499 a month per community, with a 30 day pilot and month to month after that.

Ellis is an AI assistant, not a person, and says so at the start of every call. Calling the number from any phone gets the first 5 minutes free, so you can test it with a real device problem before you decide.

Calls families get most often

How to talk about it on a tour

  1. Name the problem out loud: many families end up as the tech help desk.
  2. Show the help line card that goes in every apartment.
  3. Explain that residents can call any time, including nights and weekends, and nobody rushes them.
  4. Mention that staff still handle anything hands on, repairs and emergencies.
  5. Invite the family to try the free first five minutes themselves at (928) 272-0355.

Where Ellis fits

Ellis is a patient AI phone helper residents can call for everyday tech problems on iPhone, iPad, Android, computers and smart TVs. It says up front that it is an AI, walks through one step at a time, repeats as often as needed, and never asks for passwords or card numbers.

For operators, it is an amenity your sales team can show on a tour. We do not promise a specific occupancy result, but it gives families one less reason to worry.

Questions operators ask

Can family members call Ellis too?

Yes. A family member can call the same number to get help setting something up for their parent, or to try it before move in.

Does Ellis tell the family what the resident called about?

No. Calls are private to the caller. Operators can get a monthly summary of common question types with no personal details.

How do we put this in our sales materials?

Most communities add one line to the amenity list and a help line card to the welcome packet. We can send copy you are free to use.
